When I started this campaign, I kept one quote in mind: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Gandhi understood that the only way to change the world was to initiate it yourself and encourage others to do the same.
Today, I am asking you to help me be that force of change in the world.
My goal is to help give a new voice to the 3rd District for Philadelphia in the U.S. Congress, and with your help we can do just that! Volunteers are what make any campaign, and with your help we can send a message that we demand real change in Congress! A Congressman who stands for giving every working person in America paid sick and parental leave, for protecting Net Neutrality and Digital Privacy rights, wants common sense gun reform, and who will fight climate change!
But this change can only happen with you.
With your help, I can get the signatures required so I can get on the ballot. From there, we can take our message of change to our primary voter base and then win not only the primary, but the general election!

Lawrence West, a Republican Committee Person, has held sharp criticism for President Donald Trump with denouncements against his Muslim Ban, his response on the Charlottesville Protests, along with his comments on African Nations.
